Q. What is Bagelier?
A. Bagelier is an online bakery shop, where all the orders are taken through the site or via email.
The ordered item is sent to the nominated address on the delivery date. The payment must be received before or on delivery. Delivery is available within Perth metropolitan area only.
Q. What is the difference between normal bagels and Bagelier's bagels?
A. Our bagels are smaller than normal bagels, and the texture is dense.
Our bagels are hand-rolled and kettle-boiled. They are made with just 4 ingredients - flour, molasses, salt and yeast. No butter, oil, egg and milk is added, unlike some bagels you get from shops across Perth.
Q. How big is the bagel?
A. It is about 10 cm in diametre. The weight varies depending on flavor, but they are roughly between 90g to 120g.
Q. How will the bagels be delivered?
A. They will be delivered either individually wrapped in plastic film or without any wrapping.
If you don't specify it when placing an order, the bagels will be automatically wrapped individually and delivered in a plastic carry bag. If you place an order for the office, the fresh baked bagels will be delivered in a brown paper bag without plastic wrapping.
Q. Is there a minimum order?
A. No. However, delivery fee may apply depending on the total invoice amount. Please refer our "Delivery" page under Order Info.
Q. I am a new customer wanting to place an order, but I don't want to order 10 bagels. Can I order a sample of some bagels to try out?
A. Yes. Simply let us know which flavours of bagels you would like when placing an order. You will need to forward the payment upfront. This is for new customers and Pick-up only.
Q. How to eat Bagelier bagel?
A. Slice in half, and toast using a bread toaster or bake in the oven for 10 minutes. When making a sandwich, toast the bagel with fillings using a panini press.
Cream cheese is the most common spread on toasted bagels. Other popular spreads are honey, butter, other cheeses and jam.
Q. How should I store them?
A. Store bagels at room temperature in plastic bags of freeze them immediately.
Do not refrigerate bagels as it will hasten staleness.
Refresh a frozen bagel by slightly wetting the exterior and baking in the oven for 10 minutes. Frozen bagels will keep for 3 to 4 months in an airtight bag in the freezer. Pre-slice fresh bagels before freezing.
